While being cautiously optimistic let's just say that spring has finally sprung!  After a long and snowy winter, I'm sure that you - like me are ready for the sunshine!

Spring this year has joined us with real flair.  Though we are getting some much needed rain today (the grass is greening right up!) weeks upon weeks of beautiful blue skies and picture perfect temperatures made it a joy to get back to the outdoors.

Walking at Lake Junaluska each morning has been like walking through a movie set of spring: white dogwoods and pink weeping cherry trees against a bright blue sky, cheery greetings from other walkers, a mother goose sitting on a nest and even a visit from a bald eagle en route to summer hunting grounds.

It is truly incredible to live here in Haywood County.
