Stan was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He went on to earn a Doctorate in Physics and to become a University Professor and Director of Research at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He later left academic life and moved to Houston, TX to do full time consulting for the major oil companies. Stan and his wife Diane decided to move to Maggie Valley after spending a two week vacation there. They were looking to escape the heat and humidity of Houston and to find a place to eventually retire. They fell in love with the beauty of Western North Carolina and its easy, laid back life style. They enjoy the quality of life in the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area. Stan wanted to share this wonderful life style with others, so he became a real estate agent. When the opportunity presented itself he became a Keller Williams agent so that he could better serve his clients.
